Character Design

The character I want to design is a young woman in the background of the Tang Dynasty. In the Tang Dynasty, the dressing of women is very particular. Women of all ages have different hairstyles. Only married women can wear relatively gorgeous hairstyles, while the hairstyles of women who are still in the teenage years are relatively cute and simple. Therefore, I designed the hairstyle for this character. More suitable for young women of that era. At the same time, I also designed Tang Dynasty makeup for each hairstyle

Cloth Design

This is one of the representative female costumes of the Tang Dynasty. I designed several color schemes. In fact, these designs are not completely completed, I am still considering the patterns and materials on the clothes.

Layout Design

The type of building I want to build is Beijing’s Siheyuan, which is an ancient and precious building. A Chinese construction method called "Mortise and tenon" makes this type of construction do not need any nails to fix it and it will not collapse for hundreds of years. I am very interested in the structure of this building, so I took it as my project in final year. The picture is the layout. Only with the layout diagram can I know the approximate size of each part

Main Entrance

This is the design drawing of main entrance. It is a symbol of the identity of the owner of the house. The more ornate it represents the higher the identity of the owner of the house. The entrance I designed is called Guangliang gate. It is used only by bureaucrats. Its characteristic is that there is a lot of space before and after the door.

Front of The Building

This is the sketching of the front view of this building. The entrance on the right is the Guangliang Gate, and the part on the left is the “reverse
-facing” rooms. Because of the bad lighting, these rooms is usually for servants and guests

Small Gate

Every small gate is in the building will be carefully designed. The picture on the left is the gate on the left and right after exiting from the main entrance.
